Call for help - Upcoming initiatives at Practical Performance Analyst
Am happy to see the interest that Practical Performance Analyst has created among the community and the exponentially growing traffic to the portal tells me that we've got something good going on here. However, there is a lot of work that needs to be done to keep this initiative going and to sustain it over the longer run i would need support from individuals like yourself. In addition to sustaining the momentum on what we are alreading doing, there are quite a few intiatives that i would like us to kick start over the next few months and your involvement in building the community would he highly appreciated.
Here are the list of areas i am keen for us to start working on -
- Enlist authors with expertise on areas related to Performance Engineering to contribute relevant content at Practical Performance Analyst
- Setup a monthly podcast (News, Reviews, Interviews, Discussions, etc) at the Practical Performance Analyst
- Enlist authors with expertise on areas related to Performance Engineering to create Video Based Tutorials (VBT's)
There are the few areas i would like us to focus on over the next few months. I am not going to be able to do this alone and with the workload at work that ever increasing it's going to be a real challenge. I would encourage those among with you with strong experience in the Performance Engineering space (Performance Requirements Gathering, Performance Modelling, Performance Testing, Performance Monitoring, Capacity Planning, Capacity Management) to help out in ways you can.
Turning Practical Performance Analyst from a one man show into a platform for the community requires your support. Please write to me at trevor at practical performance analyst dot com and let me know how you can help.
We've got an exciting future that awaits us, come help us create the future.
